Couple more things...
The name of the blog, "Heavy Soul," is actually the name of a song by Akron, Ohio's The Black Keys. The song is great, and can be found on their roll-around-in-the-mud dirty blues rock debut The Big Come Up.
The funny thing about the Black Keys is that they inevitably get compared to another "blues" rock group that features a guitar player and a drummer--The White Stripes. Their names are even similar. The problem is, see, they shouldn't be compared: The Black Keys are way better than The White Stripes.
(That statement might fire up a person or two...)
I also meant to include a couple of specific sports topics that will probably be discussed a lot:
Chicago Cubs / Kansas City Royals / Oakland A's / Atlanta Braves Baseball
Kentucky Basketball / College basketball
Nebraska Football / College football

As most of you know, my team, the Louisville Cardinals will most likely win 3-4 national championships in the next 10 years. After this happens, I will most likely run for president under the platform of removing all of UK Basketball from National/Regional or any TV & Radio. I can do this, because I'm Rick Pitino, the greatest NCAA basketball coach of all time. Thanks to me, UK won those National Championships in the late 90's. What have they done since then? A bunch of good recruits, some SEC titles in a watered down confefence, and a bucket of crap. UK fans, you miss me, I know this. Hell, coach in Kentucky now (but I live on the Indiana side), I've turned the majority of your fans into Louisville donors. Face it guys, Louisville is the best!

Rick Pitino
First of all, d-bag, Rick Pitino is far from the best basketball coach ever. Everyone outside Louisville hates him. In fact, Louisville's biggest sports radio station recently dropped coverage of UL basketball to pick up UK basketball. UK basketball games are always among the highest rated.
And those championships that Pitino won in the 90's? Yeah, he only won one. Tubby won the other one. Did he help us get through a terrible time after Eddie f'in Sutton put us on probation? Absolutely. Is he the biggest traitor ever now? Even more so. And he will be lucky to win one more national championship in his career.
