Good game, eh?

Looked USC had it wrapped up. They didn't. Vince Young made my stepdad cry by saying he was coming back. Did anyone catch Wolf Parade on Craig Ferguson. They did a fair amount of ruling.

Greatest team of All-time 38
Texas Longhorns 41

I personally don't think Vince Young will stay. Mike and Mike made a good point this morning that his stock will never be higher than what it is right now. Look at Lienart, he would have been the number 1 last year and even though he put up better numbers this year he has slipped in the draft.

Yeah, you're crazy if you think that VY stays. He was in the moment when he said that. These guys say this shit all the time.

That was one of the greatest games we'll ever see, for sure.

I still think the Ohio State v. Miami National Championship was better, but this game couldn't have been much better than it was. VY will go pro, he only hurts his draft prospects if he comes back.

By the way, I'm posting from sunny Fort Lauderdale where it is currently 77 degrees.

Oh and Pete, how much cash did you drop on that fiasco?

I knew it was a crapshoot so I only lost 22. USC was covering in the 4th quarter was the amazing part. Once I knew they couldn't cover I started rooting for Texas.

Simmons makes a great point about how no one with a throwing motion like Vince Young will be a good pro QB, and I agree.

He's an amazing college player, but when he gets to a level with guys who can catch up to him and tackle him, I'm not sure he's going to be a great pro QB. He looks to me like McNabb with a much worse arm. We'll see.

Anyway, he should definitely go pro. He just won the title, and his stock will never be higher.

Just saw the Huskers are #24 in both polls. That should really help out in terms of a preseason ranking next year.

Pete, is there anything that Simmons says that after reading you don't ultimately wind up agreeing with? That's a poorly worded question, but I think my point is valid.

Rod,

(Fill in the rant about you incessantly using Rome stories/quotes for the duration of your adulthood here, with examples.)

Sincerely,
