Ashland's due for a Noah type flood isn't it? I say dam the Platte and create a lake shore full of fun twenty minutes from my house. If we could kill off several species in the process, even better.
I'm still really confused by this lake proposal. So they're just going to, like, move towns just to have it?

They are going to move ONE town, and that town is Ashland. Small price to pay as far as I'm concerned.
