It turns out 35.5 Million Americans can be Wrong.

So I was reading an article calling the hosts of American Idol on Fox homophobic, because apparently there were some questionable comments. Well, I don't know if they are homophobic or not, but they do suck. What really struck me in the article was that 35.5 million Americans were watching the show. 35.5 million. Seriously, what the fuck?

Comments:
I don't know what is worse: the fact that 35.5 million people watched American Idol, or the 25 million that watched the debut of "Skating with Celebrities." I think the second one is worse.

So, collectively 60.5 million people watched 2+ hours of horrible TV. Add this to how many people watch the dozen or so other reality shows and we are probably talking about 100 million people watching that bullshit. Granted, some of the viewers are doubling up watching all of the shows but still, you could probably say that 75 million housholds are watching some form of watch crappy reality TV every week. That is insane, the american public is stupid, but hey I quess they did elect bush again, so I suppose we should have seen it coming.

On a good TV note. I may be alone here, but I have really been getting into the show "House" on Fox. It is a medical drama, but I love how much of a prick the lead doctor is, it really makes me laugh. Maybe it is because I am prick, who knows.

I know that both of these shows suck, but did you know you can gamble on who will win Skating with the Stars? I got Stacy Kiebler at 4/1 two weeks ago.

More fun than a death pool any day of the week.

Ok you all are right...those shows suck balls....but i am here to put in a plug for one reality show....

Flava Flav's "Flavor of Love" on VH1 is one of the funniest frickin shows i have ever watched...i haven't missed an episode yet (Sunday nights). Some of his one liners will put you in tears. I highly encourage everyone to watch at least one episode.
