My Dream Golf-off
Ok, so I'm posting for the third time today. That's right third time. Big wup. So what? Wanna fight about it? But I came up with a fantastic idea for a golf tournament.
First round: 18 holes of regular golf (nothing ingenious so far).
Second round: 18 holes of Tiger Woods 2006
Third round: 18 holes of regular golf
Fourth round: Head to a bar and play a final round of Golden Tee
Any takers?
Addition: We could call it the Heavy Soul Championship and give out an orange blazer to the winner since GA decided orange was going to be the over riding color of the blog.

Great idea. Instead of two rounds of regular golf maybe throw in some mini golf?

Kyle, fabulous idea. I was trying to figure out how we could cram all of us playing of that into one day, but mini-golf would make it absolutely perfect. The jacket looks good, but several of us husky boys may need a larger size than 40, we'll have to come to a middle ground.
May i also throw in how cool it would be to make this all some sort of Rider Cup format..
Maybe 2 teams of 4.

Afternoon 36 holes of mini golf...first 18 2 man Best balls w/ different partner. Final 18 2 man scrambles.
Than at night....drinks and Tiger Woods at Big Boi's with 1 on 1 matches.
Finish the night at a sports bar with 1 on 1 Golden Tee.
Just some thoughts but it might be fun to make this some sort of team competition. Maybe losing team pays the bar tab at the end of the night.

I would also consider coming home for that gem, I would just have to know a little while in advance.. Hell gage and I could car pool back for it.
The orange jacket is a great idea. However, the site is orange only because that was the color of the template. if anyone knows anything about html Color formatting, let me know. also, glad to see the heavy action on the blog.
We really need to have a jacket. Even if it isn't orange (there are some nice baby blue ones on Ebay for like 10 bucks) we need something. It would be the ultimate trophy, and when I win (I have to be the early favorite) it will be the proudest moment of my life.
I also think that your mini putt score should probable count as double. What is par for Mini putt? Probable like 40 or less. Just an idea, it would help keep each round more even.
