"We're going to play these white people...for our freedom!"

Dave Chappelle's Block Party is coming out March 3rd. The Roots. Kanye West. Common. Mos Def. Talib Kweli. Dead Prez. Jill Scott. John Legend. And the first time the Fugees played together since The Score. All on the big screen. I have now watched the trailer 15 times. Tonight.

What is cool about it is that he gives out a bunch of "Golden Ticket" invites the week before the show to random people in Dayton, Ohio. The same Dayton, Ohio that....MY PARENTS LIVE IN!!!!! WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING LIVING IN NEBRASKA??? DAVE CHAPPELLE DOESN'T GIVE AWAY GOLDEN TICKETS TO THE GREATEST CONCERT EVENT IN THE HISTORY OF MY GENERATION IN OMAHA, NEBRASKA! LET ALONE GOLDEN TICKETS TO THE GREATEST CONCERT EVENT IN THE HISTORY OF MY GENERATION THAT HAPPENS TO BE TURNED INTO A MOVIE EVENT DIRECTED BY THE MAN THAT DIRECTED ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND!

Sorry. That's it.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot the link to watch the trailer. Check it out here. God, this is going to be the best movie ever.

Comments:
The movie looks like funny shit but did anyone else see Chappelle's 2 hour interview? It's official, he is completely crazy.

I don't think he sounded crazy whatsoever. I think he sounded like a man who got way more than he bargained for when he became mega-famous. I feel bad for the guy.

Well first off I'm glad to know I am not the only one who watches that Actors Studio show.

HOWEVER, (Stephen A. Smith style)I don't see how anyone who watched that didn't think he was a little crazy. The part where his eyes are bugging out and he is talking about how Crazy is such a strong word was completly insane. I also thought it was funny when they would show a clip from Half-Baked and then Chappelle would explain what an artist he is. He was normal for about an hour of the show, semi-crazy for about 45 minutes, and completely insane for about 15 minutes.
