Colorado...No Longer As Important As Chadron State
I know, I know--the first thing on the blog regarding the glorious first weekend of college football should be about the Huskers, and their dominating offense, their frightening secondary, how good our running backs looked, blah blah blah. But this quote ABSOLUTELY is my favorite college football quote of all time:
This should be framed and hung in every Nebraska fan's basement.
"This game wasn't about height, weight or speed. It was about belief systems and we found a way to get it done...It would mean more if I could beat Chadron State next week"--Montanta State coach Mike Kramer, referring to shocking Colorado, 19-10 at Boulder
This should be framed and hung in every Nebraska fan's basement.

It would mean more to beat Chadron because, and I'm dead serious, North Platte native Danny Woodhead is a better football player than anyone on Colorado's offense.
