2007 is going to be a good year.......
What a way to welcome in 2007. I'm lying in bed with a raging hangover getting ready to watch football and what surprise greets me? That's right, Pat Summerall is announcing the Cotton Bowl!!!!!! And apparently I'm not the only person thrilled about this as I just got a text message from Pete. Go Huskers and I'm going to enjoy the shit out of the next few hours.

Pat Summerall telling Gerald Ford stories was the highlight of the game for me. I can't believe we don't try a FG there. Surely someone on that sideline can POSSIBLY make that FG. I don't get it.
How was Congdon the best kicker in the country and he can't kick it more than 38 yards. Mind boggling.

Update: I did not go see the Hold Steady last night. I'm not sure who I thought I was kidding thinking I would want to leave the apartment on January 1.
