You asked for it...
I finally got ticketed for driving with expired plates. The cop was a pretty good guy about it. Just told me to get them renewed. I told him I'd been out of the country for seven months. He laughed. Hard. I now know how long you can drive on expired plates...seven months. Turns out when the stickers have turned colors twice on you, your plates tend to stand out. Don't judge me.
