Heavy Soul Open
Ok, we tried to do it last year on the morning after GA's bachelor party: STUPID. This year it needs its own weekend. We need to get this off the ground as there aren't any bouncers or casinos to stop us this time. I want imput from everybody as to what events should be included, when it should be, and where it should be. One suggestion I have is that we do this Western Nebraska style: play mini-golf in Grand Island, regular golf in Gothenburg, regular golf in McCook, and finish with mini-golf at Cody Go Carts. Or we could still bring in the videogame versions or even add ladder golf. So let's hear some ideas because this was too good of an idea to just let it fade away.

I agree this needs to happen, how about a golf triathlon.
Morning-18 holes of golf and lots of beer
Afternoon-18 holes of mini golf
Night- horse balls (ladder golf if you prefer) and more beers.
How about this to even the playing field in real golf. Some sort of 4 man best ball or scramble format including a stroke off of teams final score for every 12 beers finished by the conclusion of 18 holes.
Than we move onto mini golf where we total up 4 scores.
Finally each team will split into 2 teams of two for horseballs where we play a double elimination tourney.
If we could get 12 people it would be sweet.
Heavy Soul Open champion could be determined by some sort of points system based on teams finish in the 3 events. Winner to have bragging rights for a year.
Even if we could get 8 guys we could do 4 teams of 4
Or in the real golf portion we could have 3 golfers and one drinker (i.e. MIB, GA, etc. for those non golfers)
I'm obviously just rambling and brainstorming here but lets get this done.

Nice thinking Deuce, and I like the adjusted events. No one plays Tiger Woods or Golden Tee anymore, way to keep it topical.
And I have to say that calling the Heavy Soul Open cancellation a disappointment is the understatement of the year.
